Kelli grew up on the seat of his grandfather’s 706 International tractor in rural Underwood, Iowa. After graduation, Kelli attended Northwest Missouri State University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Science in 2000. Kelli worked in ag retail until 2011, when he found his passion for helping farmers even more as a Support Agronomist for NutraFlo until 2015. The ability to work directly with growers and fine tune their cropping plans lead Kelli back into the seed world when he covered Northwest Iowa as the District Sales Manager for Dairyland Seed. Kelli gained substantial knowledge in the alfalfa and silage market that has provided better rate of gain and more milk per acre.

Kelli came on board with AgVenture The Seed Source in July of 2018. Along with direct customers, Kelli has a dealer network that help him cover a good sized chunk of Northwest Iowa. Kelli also provides agronomic support to the western Iowa Seed Source team.  Kelli also enjoys spending his time evaluating corn and soybean plots within his territory to make the best product placement recommendations to his growers.

Kelli currently resides in Sac City, Iowa, and currently the President of the Sac City Men’s Club.  Locally, you can usually catch Kelli helping out at almost any Sac County Cattleman or Western Iowa Dairy Alliance event.  Kelli also advocates as a member of the Iowa Corn Growers Association and Iowa Soybean Association. Kelli has two older kids, Adam, who is attending UNOmaha and Megan who is attending Northwest High School in Omaha as well.
