Preston went to high school at Homer Community Schools. In 2015, he attended Wayne NE state college, majoring in Ag Business with a minor in Business Administrations. He grew up on a family owned farm where he also operates a trucking business. Hobbies include:  riding side by sides, guns, and boating on the river.
