Lowell Schardt

The Seed Source, Inc. is owned by Lowell and Karen Schardt in Wayne Nebraska and has been serving farmers since July 2000.  Lowell started as a one man show, offering HIGH quality seed products to farmers in Northeast Nebraska.  Since then, sales have expanded to North West Iowa and Southern  South Dakota.  

Lowell grew up on a diversified farm in South Central Nebraska, working with irrigated and dryland crops of corn, soybeans, sorghum and wheat as well as experiencing cow/calf production and  cattle and hog feeding as well as farrowing.

He graduated from University of Nebraska Lincoln and farmed, worked for a large cattle feeding operation until landing a District Sales Manager position with a large seed company until starting his own business in 2000.

Lowell continues work with farm customers and helping provide products and services that can improve their profitability and produce higher yields.

Lowell and his wife Karen, a retired teacher and full time grandmother,  have 3 children and 5 grand children that they are proud of and monopolize their spare time.
